Thanks to our fellow 53BP resident, Katie, for the tip on this article in this weekend’s New York Times. The 14 Townhouses development around the corner — also known as the State Street Townhouses — has received much critical acclaim in recent publications. Architecture buffs and area residents are very satisfied with the way this modern construction will elegantly blend into the surrounding area. With each townhouse priced at $2.6 million (and one already in contract), a broker at Prudential Douglas Elliman “believes the new project will be ‘a big boost for the entire neighborhood.’”
