Its' funny how you'd never think of a spa as a place to find a great restaurant. I've come across a hideaway of sorts down on Park Ave (In Clinton Hill) INSIDE of a the chocolate factory building. I decided to stop by and grab a drink. Interestingly their brunch menu caught my eye (they had things like Classic Irish Breakfast, Cinnamon French Toast, Croque Monseur as well as a shrimp and tomato frita-yum). Not only did I have my fill but I had a free mimosa included when I paid to use their sauna area. A great place to hang out as well as catch an early morning bite to eat on a sunday.

[...] We’ve heard some great things about the Wild Game Festival at Henry’s End — a special menu of weird animal meats, ranging from rattlesnake to ostrich to kangaroo to elk — but we’ve never worked up the nerve to actually try it. (It’s not so much that we’re afraid of, say, Buffalo Rib Eye with Roasted Corn Sauce, but we’re afraid of spending $33.50 on an entree that might be too gamey to really enjoy.) But this wild menu is only served from October through February, so if we’re going to try it, we’ve got to act soon. According to local blogger 53 Boerum, “Henry’s End also has great southern fried chicken, a wide selection of veal dishes, superb seafood, and an array of duck dishes… Sorry Noodle Pudding, we have a new favorite spot in the Heights!” So, is Henry’s End as good as it’s cracked up to be — and is it better than Noodle Pudding? And if we go, what should we order? Wild Game Menu [Henry’s End] Restaurant Review: Henry’s End [53 Boerum] [...]
